Leslie Moody Glass Art

Leslie Moody - slides Leslie Moody has been working with hot glass since 1982.

Her work has been described as personal, lyrical, sensual and intimate; words not commonly associated with blown glass art. Her forms are one-of-a-kind vessels with surface designs reminiscent of some kind of watercolor / calligraphy.

She has attended Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, WA, received a scholarship to Penland School of Arts Leslie Moody at work and Crafts in Penland, No. Carolina, apprenticed under Loren Chapman in Laguna Beach, CA, taught beginning students and demonstrated the art of glass blowing from the Sawdust Festival and Knott's Berry Farm to Phoenix Studios in Harmony, CA.

Her work has been exhibited in numerous juried and invitational shows through-out the United States and Japan, as well as some of the most prestigious juried Fine Art Festivals around: Cherry Creek in Denver, CO, Scottsdale, AZ, Sun Valley, ID, Sausalito, La Quinta and La Jolla, CA, to name a few.

Leslie continues "the dance" with hot glass in a private studio among the Coastal Redwoods of Northern California with Fred 'Sonny' Cresswell.
